On a Wet Afternoon

Rain sometimes makes for interesting effects. And Dusk being my favourite time of day, I indulged myself in Cirencester.

Clovelly – no heels allowed

Get good shoes and you’ll have your cardio done by the end of a treck through Clovelly, a very old fishing village inĀ the Torridge district of Devon, England.

Ducks in a pond

My second painting from Abbotsbury. I just loved the view. This is my first upload since at least a week. I’ve been busy. BUT I had this one done and ready so, before signing off, why not?

Lil’ Red Car

Lyndhurst has this Ferrari dealership. Just wanted to have a go at one of those babies. Now, without lying outright, I can say: have you seen my Ferrari? Don’t have to specify I’m talking about an illustration ;o)

Beach Combing in Waymouth

Lots of overcast skies in the uK, which makes for dramatic views and memories! This is the beachfront in Waymouth.

Down by the River

Nice blue skies, water and a bridge make for a happy traveller.

Abbotsbury Pond

I’m pretty happy with this one. I particularly like the light. Feels like a modern day Romantic British painter did this – Turner, Constable come to mind – but i’m no art expert. Anyway, pretty happy with this one.

Cirencester After the Rain

Wanted to, but did not eat at the Crown. I had quite a bit of road to cover and night was falling. I just enjoyed the sight against the bright, soon to be night sky.

Hillside Cottage

In one of the most beautiful villages in England, Castle Combe, this cottage, by the side of the road, is, even though I interpreted a tad, a typical example of why that village is such a hit with visitors.

Mevagissey Harbour

It’s harder to take decent shots when you’re shaking. Doesn’t look like it but it was pretty nippy out there with the wind. The sun was leaving (again) after having played hide and seek most of the afternoon. Now dusk was upon me and I had very little daylight walkabout time left. Mevagissey must be very beautiful when the sun rises in the morning. I’ll have to come back here some day.
