I only stayed one night at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort. Didn’t have time to take too many shots, but still found some interesting views (not that I have any merit – the nature there is awesome and the property’s landscaping is superb!). This one’s a bit on the Mescalito side of things, but still, I think it gives a good idea of the place. Drop by if you have the chance. Oh! And you can also play golf ;o)

My first upload in a new series of images from Arizona’s Apache Trail. This one’s called Standing Guard. The shot was taken at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort, where I stayed overnight while on my walkabout. Thumbnails below access a 400 x 600 jpeg and a detail of the image.
One of my favourite spots, at Hacienda Galindo, in Mexico’s San Juan del Rio, is so wonderfully inspiring and calm, I wish I could work on my images sitting there, in that lovely terrace, with a pitcher of horchata. Hmmmm!

This one’s a bit different. It’s still a Plateau Mont-Royal image, a back-alley actually, but the subject is a scooter I chanced upon in my explorations of my neighborhood’s spaces. I just liked how someone used a small area as a parking spot. Perfect for such a small vehicle. Thumbnail below accesses a 400 x 600 jpeg.
This one’s definitely whimsical, or just outlandish, depending on your point of view. I’m always struck by the way nature claims its own over anything man-made. In this particular case, I thought the fresh green leaves felt like the rusted pipes dream, or thoughts. The wondrous tentacles of life find purchase on the most barren and urban spots. As usual, click on the thumbnail below to access a 600 by 400 pixels jpeg. Thanks.
